Dealership for electrical appliances and other goods
In Mongolia, we undertake trade that connects Mongolia and Japan. We import air purifiers made by Daikin and IRIS OHYAMA, as well as electrical products from other Japanese manufacturers.
Spurred by a passion to provide clean air
The spur for starting the import and sale of Japanese electrical appliances was the environmental problems faced by Mongolia. In contrast to the grassy plains that cover 80% of the country’s land, the capital city Ulaanbaatar has faced the problem of air pollution for many years. The main cause of this is harmful smog from coal-fired stoves lingering in the bowl that the city is located in, and the problem becomes even more serious in winter when the amount of coal burned increases drastically. This sometimes even leads to deaths among children. When Wayo Co., Ltd. Chairman and Representative Director Junichi Hattori found out about this, he resolved to bring high-quality air purifiers from Japan to Mongolia. So the company has partnered with local volume retailers, and imports, sells, and provides after sales services for these products.
Case studies
IRIS OHYAMA
Particularly well received have been air purifiers in a price range that makes them affordable to younger Mongolian consumers, as well as vacuum cleaners and futon cleaners demonstrated and sold by Mongolian staff.

Daikin
Considered expensive for the average Mongolian household, Daikin air purifiers have a reputation for good performance and are mainly purchased by wealthy households in Ulaanbaatar.
